So what are my credentials?

Below I have listed the qualifications that I have gained and some of the professional development courses that I have attended. The courses are usually presented by an expert in the field such as a barrister, solicitor or licensed insolvency practitioner and carry accreditation points recognised by bodies such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency in Personal Insolvency - Pass with distinction.
  This is an exam set by the Insolvency Practitioner’s Association. It is intended to probe candidate’s proficiency and knowledge in the area of personal insolvency, particularly IVA’s and bankruptcy. Candidates are expected to have an in depth awareness of the options available to someone in debt and subject matters that can be examined include:
  
  Options for someone in debt - bankruptcy - post bankruptcy order procedure - creditor's meetings - assets in bankruptcy - family home - powers of the trustee and the Official Receiver - discharge and annulment - individual voluntary arrangement procedures.
