Personal Experiences
When I went bankrupt there was no where that I could obtain a personal perspective on bankruptcy. I found this to be a huge gap and, to be frank, quite isolating at times.
I therefore decided to add a personal experiences section to this website. It allows you to read about other peoples experience of bankruptcy and post your own so that others can benefit from reading yours. Another reason I feel that it is important to share our experiences is so that we can have our say and show the world what bankruptcy is really about.

Real bankruptcy cases
As with any area of law, if you have embarked on an IVA or bankruptcy then it is possible for you to find yourself the subject of court involvement. This could be for any number of reasons.
I have introduced this section to my website so that you can read a simplistic summary of some of the cases that have taken place in the past. Some of the cases summarised will be significant legal precedents and others are simply interesting. I have also included some real examples of bankruptcy restriction orders.
Before you dive in though, please understand how this section should be used. The cases here are not an indication of whether or not you will be the subject of such proceedings and are most certainly not intended to interpret the law or present legal principles to you. There is no doubt about it, bankruptcy is a controversial subject by nature. There is no getting away from the fact that everybody will have their own opinion.
There has always been two extreme views on bankruptcy, those that accept it and those that think bankrupt's just wanted an easy way out!
This section of the website allows absolutely anyone to publish their view on bankruptcy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so please feel free to submit, say what you feel on anything to do with bankruptcy.
